Prevention Month so we wanted to bring awareness and share some resources to know the signs, lend a helping hand, or get some help if needed. Abuse is never okay and should never be an option.
American Society for the Positive Care of Children – American SPCC is a non-profit organization that stands for the protection of children against abuse and neglect. They offer many resources that can help various types of child abuse and how to better take care of children in the situation.
Joyful Heart Foundation – A Joyful Heart is a foundation that was established with the mission to “transform society’s response to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse, support survivors’ healing, and end this violence forever”. A Joyful Heart pursues this mission through the use of healing programs, education, and advocacy.
Positive Parenting – Wolfson Children’s Hospital has some tips for parents when it comes to discipline, coping strategies, and other essentials when it comes to caring for your child.
